Squier Contemporary Jaguar with Dimarzio Super Distortion and PAF 36th Anniversa

This guitar started life as a stock Squier Contemporary Jaguar. It has been modified with new 1meg pots, a .01 nf cap, and new Dimarzio pickups (Super Distortion bridge and 36th Anniversary PAF  in the neck). The magnet was flipped in the neck to give an amazing Peter green/Slash/cock wah sound in the middle position.

A three position pickup selector was installed in the modified lower switch plate. It also has a “strangle switch” on one of the sliders.  The other three sliders (two at the top and one at the bottom) are unwired but could be used for coil split, phase swap, etc.

The neck is straight and the body has no issues. Stays in tune very well. The roasted neck feels smooth and worn in but it’s an almost new guitar.

The sound of this guitar is simply amazing, the combination of sounds available covers every kind of music you can imagine.
