Chaga Mushroom – Tincture & Ground (for tea)

Fresh Chaga mushroom – harvested sustainably along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Processed immediately, air dried, stored in glass, and kept in a cool, dark area until purchase.

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a medicinal mushroom that grows on the trunks of birch trees. It has been used as a traditional and alternative medicine for centuries, most typically as a tea or tincture. Chaga has also been widely researched and has been found to have many potential health benefits including:
Reduce inflammation
Boost the immune system
Fight viruses
Normalize cholesterol and blood sugar levels
Anti-cancer properties

Many people refer to Chaga as a superfood because of the many beneficial components including an extremely high level of anti-oxidants. The anti-oxidants help your body to fight free radicals in your system – the source of many diseases such as auto-immune diseases and cancer. The beneficial components also include betulinic acid, polysaccharides and beta-D-glucans.

Available as a Tincture or Ground (for tea) and shipped nationwide.

Tincture – Triple Extraction process (alcohol/hot water/freezing). Available in 4 ounce ($40) dropper bottles. Ten week process – excellent quality.

Ground – $35 per quart canning jar (small granules – consistency of tea) or $40 per pound. The ground chaga makes more of the beneficial nutrients available. The grounds can also be re-used to continue to extract the beneficial elements.
