Mersman was one of the foremost Mid-Century Modern furniture makers in the U.S. They famously created incredibly well-constructed pieces that remain ideal examples of MCM design.
Circa 1972, this tiered table, made of walnut wood, is an ideal example of Mersman’s work. It has beautiful carved tapered legs that support turned columns, which separate the top surface from the storage compartment below. It’s in excellent condition.
