Wildland Firefighters, Get Ready for Summer Work

Pacific Oasis Forestry is looking for hardworking, physically fit, and good natured people to join our National and Regional Wildland Firefighting Hand crews and Engine crews.

Experience on Hand Crews or Engine crews is a plus, but No Experience is Required.

Pacific Oasis will dispatch crews from our Bases in Ashland, Klamath Falls, Springfield and
La Pine Oregon.
As long as you are within a reasonable response time to any of these locations we will be able to put you through our training

Experienced or previously trained people need to pass the Pack Test and take the RT-130 Refresher Class.
If you only need a refresher class our next Refresher class is February 11th.
All of our returning firefighters should come get it done asap so that you’re ready when the first calls of the season come in.
New firefighters will need to complete a 40 hour class. Our next Intro Class begins on Saturday March 25th
We have limited space for these classes.
So if you want to take the class call and reserve your spot.

The fire season is coming soon and Pacific Oasis needs more good fire fighters to fill out our crews.
Pacific Oasis crews are very active, hard working, and professional!

Pacific Oasis fire crews have worked on fires in 9 western states last fire seasons.
