Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Full time position from 7am-4pm, M-F.

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring Shipping and Receiving activities are carried out in a timely manner.

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Maintain the shipping and stock areas to ensure a clean and safe work environment
o Effectively package all goods by using boxes, strapping, braces and/or padding to prevent damage during shipment.
o Examines shipment contents and compares with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy
o Prepare and maintain Shipping & Receiving documentation and generate routine reports.
o Ensure accurate inventories are kept by interfacing with the Dynalloy Inventory System for all Shipping & Receiving activities.
o Assist with Physical Inventory requirements such as counting and reporting

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED;
• One year of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Entry level computer skills.

Work environment is manufacturing facility with moderate to loud noise level.
