Seeking an ideal Cleaner / Janitor for Condo Community

The Shores at Waikoloa is home to a professional and hardworking team that serves the needs of our well-established Condominium Community.
We are seeking a full-time Cleaner / Janitor to join our team!
Will consider the right part-time applicants for casual, or scheduled part-time, day-off coverage, or possible job share of the full-time hours. Weekend and holiday coverage availability is required for either a set or rotating coverage schedule, following orientation.
Major responsibilities of the position include (examples of but not limited to):
1. Completing daily, weekly and assigned, periodic cleaning of our common areas and amenities:
• Common walkways and fixtures of tower buildings (railings, stairwells, elevator lobbies, etc.)
• Elevator (both interiors and exteriors)
• Common area restrooms (Pool, Fitness Center, Staff Bathrooms)
• Outdoor areas to include, but not limited to, pool deck, tennis and BBQ area furniture, BBQs, entry keypads, etc.
• Skimming ponds and providing assistance as needed to pond lead.
• Pool kitchen area, office lobby and Fitness Center.
• Rubbish management (pick up from 24 Villa units, maintenance of dumpster enclosures, recycling program)
2. A positive, team-approach to duties, team members, owners, tenants and guests at all times.
3. The Shores is a 100% non-smoking property, and a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
4. Must pass a drug screen and background check during onboarding.
5. Qualifications:
• Previous professional cleaning or janitorial experience strongly preferred. Hotel or timeshare experience desirable. Training available to the motivated applicant with a positive reference for reliability, team skills, and availability to start ASAP.
• Physical requirements of the job include, but are not limited to: Kneeling, squatting, walking, pushing of brooms, mops and light equipment, working in outdoor/open-air conditions in the Waikoloa Resort (warm) weather, exposed to elements, etc.

Our salary range allows us to have serious discussions with experienced applicants with verified experience as a professional cleaner. An entry-level salary (little experience) is $18/hour with a generous benefit package including paid time off accrual after 3 months of satisfactory probation period in eligible positions.
