Meet Annie! She is a 3 year old, 60 lb, brindle and white Olde English Bulldogge who is full of joy, for those who are unaware, the Olde English Bulldogge is a breed in the guardian group that was created in the early 1970’s to “recreate a Bulldog with the looks, health and athleticism of the 18th Century Bulldog”. She is a wonderful example of her breed and is very protective but has never shown any ill will towards anyone. She is very sweet and is definitely a people dog, she gets along with other dogs with a proper introduction, but has trouble sharing her personal space so we’d prefer her to be the only dog in the home. Unfortunately she does not get along with cats, she has never hurt one but she will chase them. Annie is a Velcro dog, she’s like a shadow and will follow wherever you go. Though she is not crate trained, she is house trained and has never caused any issues when home alone. She is a bundle of love but can get rough when playing so she does best with older children. Annie is very vocal for her breed and will definitely let you know is she needs something. She also tends to bark at unknown or certain smells we’ve noticed. She absolutely loves playing tug, she will fetch but she’s not always willing to let go of the ball, and her favorite game ever is the flirt pole (basically a giant cat toy but for dogs). With Annie you’ll always have a cuddle partner, she’s very much a couch potato but always enjoys playing outside or going on a walk. She also loves swimming! She adores the lake and she is a great traveler, she does great in the car! She can pull on the leash when she gets excited but has a very calm pace otherwise. She is an amazing dog with such a sweet personality and a big heart. Thank you for reading and I hope you can consider Annie for adoption.
