Your Rights against your Neighbor’s Barking Dogs

If you live on one of the five hills of Copperas Cove then no doubt you hear the irritating sounds of barking dogs echoing through the neighborhood day and night.
even if you don’t live on a hill, you probably have one or more of these annoying dogs near you.
These inconsiderate dog owners are BREAKING THE LAW pursuant to:
Code of Ordinances Copperas Cove
Article 1 Section 8-7
(c)Residential property. It is unlawful for a person to cause, make, or allow excessive noise to be made if it can be heard across property lines or enters another residence.
Excessive noise means any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person with normal sensitivities or that injures or endangers the comfort, repose, health, hearing, peace, or safety of another person.

City taxes are high enough, we have the right to peace of mind.

if you are tired of hearing barking dogs, day or night, then you can report a violation anonymously.
yes, you are only required to give an email address but they will keep that private.
If you are fed up with the psychotic noise then submit a complaint:

the perps will be warned and FINED if continued.
