Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk

At least 1 year of experience in inventory in a shipping and receiving department. At least 1 year of experience driving the Crown stand up forklift.

The Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk serves an important role in maintaining food safety and quality by entering accurate data of all inbound and outbound shipments. This position also works together with the warehouse team to ensure proper temperature of trucks and products, vendor arrival time and that all inventory levels are recorded accurately for tracking purposes. Conduct cycle counting, rework and bin audits.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare all labels, pallet labels (LP’s) and all shipping documents, such as BOL and packing slips, which includes both finished goods and raw materials.

· Verify accurate data such as: quantities, LOT#, expiration dates for inbound and outbound products.

· Enter accurate data in inventory log using excel, NetSuite and/or any other ERP system.

· Maintain and update inventory records and levels

· Perform quality checks on inventory in storage, discard items that do not meet company standards, following proper destruction procedures for damages or spoiled goods.

· Stock and catalog products in proper bins, conduct daily, weekly, and monthly counts.

· Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records for raw and finished products as well as packaging materials.

· Load and unload deliveries / shipments as needed.

· Report and record any damage in equipment and call for maintenance/service as needed.

· Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as all GMP’s.

· Conduct company equipment as specified in training.

· Truck daily audit

· Printing tags in combination with inventory controller

· Closing and sealing trailer, making corrections before sending EDI message.

· Verify QTY & Lots

· Reporting shorts over to CSRS and WHM

· Requesting releases and maintaining inventory levels of FG & RM

· Initiating CC’s and reporting discrepancies and variances

· Forklift ops

· Scanning Docs inspecting BOL’s/ Pack slips/ shipping labels

· Report shorts and discrepancies of inbounds to QA and procurement.

· Escalate issues with shipments to 3rd party storage

· Hand off to 2nd and 3rd shift

· Order shipment supplies and maintaining inventory levels (seals. Temp recorders plastic wrap

· Maintain dock MX schedules and sanitation practices.

· Report any personal issues to supervisor or WHM.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm – Flexibility as needed

Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
