Josh Mundt has been teaching since 2015. During his studies, his wide exposure to different teaching methods has given him a keen sense for what works and what doesn’t.

Josh takes a goal-oriented approach to lessons that keeps students on track for regular, tangible results. He emphasizes ear training, technique, repertoire, and musical language blended with music theory and sight reading according to the student’s needs and long-term goals.

Using his 15+ year experience studying hard rock and metal guitar, Josh has developed a guitar pedagogy that is focused, structured, fun, and effective. Each lesson is built to help students achieve their own personal goals and is accompanied by written examples, etudes, and excerpts to practice at home.
