SLO Gal Still Seeking Home

Hello There…
I am STILL seeking a studio or 1 bedroom with a landlord that will accept a Section 8 voucher as I finally have one (due to being a displaced senior citizen ONLY)
OR…a room, RV, garage or ??? while waiting for a senior/subsidized apartment to become available to me @ one of the many complexes whose waiting lists I am on (6-18 mo +-)
OR…for a sharing situation that is even more ideal than living alone, so here is my quick overview:
I’m 67 years young…a SLO local, born and raised…and SLO (Co.) is where I want to remain, as it IS my heart’s home.
I am a very clean, respectful, conscientious, considerate person, and have an easy going, friendly personality.
My interests include cooking/baking, reading, listening to music, gardening, walking, thrift shopping, and sewing/crafts.
I do love animals so would have no problem living with others pets.
I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs, nor have I ever had any sort of criminal record.
I do not drive, so I would need to be within walking distance to a bus stop.
I am retired so do have consistent income for rent, and though I DO realize rents have skyrocketed in this area, the ideal rent cost w/o voucher for just a room is $600 (inc.utilities)…and very maximum I can pay is $700, but would consider providing some light cooking, gardening or housekeeping to offset some of the rent or can pay up to $950 for a room with my voucher.
As far as voucher goes, the current value for 2022 paid by HUD for studio (efficiency) is now at $1400, a 1 bedroom is now $1575, which makes it at least or over market value AND as well:
Consistent/On Time Rent Payments by the Government
Pre-Screened Tenants
Constant Tenant Base/Less Turnover (= Lower Vacancy Rates)
Tenants Motivated To Pay Their Portion of Rent
Less Delinquency
Fewer Evictions
No Rent Control/Better Profit Margins

The Joy of Being Able To Help People Disadvantaged and in Need
So, if you think I might be a good fit and/or a consideration, please let me know what you might have to offer.
I have no problem with a background check, will answer any/all questions you may have, and DO have many local/personal references as well.
