JOB SUMMARY
General labor positions and duties may include the following: Tacking: Tacks the band on the hat. Sewing position. No sewing experience required Back Sew: Sew sweat leather closed for hat. Sewing position. No sewing experience required Sweat Sew: Sew sweat leather into hat. Sewing position. No sewing experience required Felt Trim Assembly: Assembly felt band with buckle sets for felt hats. Pre-finish Felt: Using hand sander to finish the surface of felt hat. Lacquer Room Sprayer: Work in paint booth setup pre-spraying hat for lacquer. PPE equipment provided. Press Operator: Operates press to create hat shape. Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly.
