Seeking Lead Guitarist

Established Black Hills area cover band looking for a lead guitarist. Many gigs booked in 2023, along with a consistent following to shows and on social media. Band has opened in the past for a couple of national acts. Consistent bookings, pay split evenly between all band members. Many repeat venues throughout the year, with 1-2 weekends a month to be booked. Busier in the summer months to include street dances and festivals in various locations. Must be ok traveling out of the area and out of state with some overnight shows (SD, ND, WY, MT, NE, MN). We play a large variety of genres to include new and old country, classic rock, southern rock, 80s, 90s, blues, Top 40, some hard rock, and a few others to keep it interesting. Currently adding original music (genre will be country rock). Looking for someone that is dedicated to once a week rehearsals (more in the beginning until solid) and learning the current set list, which is approximately 100+ songs. Wanting to find someone that wants to commit long term to a band that has future goals and aspirations. Also wanting to find someone that truly enjoys playing ALL genres. Lead guitarist will not sing lead vocals, as we already have 2 main leads and a part time lead. Harmonies would be a plus but also not necessary. Need to be ready to go by May shows, which start May 20th, however, rehearsals with the band will be needed before that. If you can be ready to go before then, I will book April and May shows. Would like you to play with our current lead guitarist to learn the music if possible. Current lead guitarist will be leaving the end of April.
