Requirements include

1 Living in the Hampton/Newport News/Yorktown area. (There are no exceptions to this rule)

2 Feeling the groove (the pocket)

3 Playing 5 string bass

4 An understanding of time signatures

5 Being a team player

6 Being creative

7 Having fun

Please note that we use down tunings and tune down by as much as a whole step as well as using C standard.
