Production Associate

Calling all crafters, tinkerers and designers – Vermont Awards & Engraving has a spot to fill with a unique job description that may be just up your alley!

We’re on the lookout for a new full-time member of our design/production team. The work typically entails creating custom layouts for a wide variety of clients and purposes, using graphic design & CAD software with a variety of machines and tools that allow us to offer the best process for each type of material. Some jobs are repeat, using existing templates, but many are new and allow the creativity of their designer to shine!

An ideal candidate:
-Enjoys creative problem solving & figuring out how to make things work with the tools they have available
-Is curious and interested in learning and developing artisan skills
-Likes finding things to do to keep busy, even in a relaxed, fun work environment
-Can handle constructive criticism and being asked to redo work when mistakes are found, without taking it personally
-Isn’t afraid to ask questions, but also takes the initiative to try and discover answers on their own if help isn’t immediately available
-Is accepting of and happy to work with people from all walks of life, identities, orientations, etc
-Pays attention to details and genuinely cares about the quality of their work and its impact on the recipient/viewer
-Is proficient with Windows computers and programs
-Can lift 40 or more lbs and is confident and safe around power tools
-Loves dogs

We offer competitive pay, health insurance, dental, vision and a simple IRA plan. We work from 9-to-5 during the week and there are almost always dogs around! Pay for this position falls between $15-$19/hr depending on experience with room for growth as mastery is developed.
