Part-time Kitchen Assistant needed at small retirement community

Looking for a part-time position with a great work atmosphere and a flexible schedule? We may be the spot for you! We are ideally looking for someone who has a cheerful, positive attitude and enjoys working with older adults. Communcation skills are a must!

Duties, depending on the shift, can include: taking breakfast orders from residents, making toast, pouring drinks prior to meals, making and serving coffee, setting tables, cleaning tables/ dining room after meals, washing dirty dishes, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, helping with light prep work (chopping fruit, chopping salad, plating food), helping maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, sweeping/ mopping, consistently washing hands, communicating with managers and cooks, and helping the cook serve meals.

We’re currently hiring for several Kitchen Assistant shifts. They are:
Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Fridays from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM and 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Other hours/ shifts may be available as needed
