I’ve found lately that local garages and repair shops are always backed up for a week or two, and some charge outrageous money for repairs these days.

My immediate need is to diagnose Battery Charging System on my mid-2000’s GM SUV.

It’s got $140,000 miles so it’s probably time for a new Alternator, a swap you can easily do right in my driveway.

It needs other repairs we can talk about, plus I’m planning on getting an older pickup soon that will need attention too.
