Mock Jurors Needed

Why watch Law & Order when you can work in the judicial system of our country and earn money? BECOME A JUROR FOR TWO DAYS AND GET PAID

We are seeking residents of Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s County, Maryland, to serve as Jurors for a 2-day mock trial to be held on March 8 AND 9, 2023.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Adult residents of Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s, Maryland, ages 18 to 70.

Date of Mock Trial: March 8 AND 9, 2023
Hours are from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (with 1 hour lunch break) each day

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST BE a U.S. Citizen
• MUST BE a Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s County resident for minimum 1 year
• MUST BE 18 years of age or older
• MUST HAVE a valid Maryland driver’s license or Maryland State I.D. showing a Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s County address.
• MUST SPEAK, READ & WRITE ENGLISH FLUENTLY
• MUST HAVE a minimum High School Diploma, persons with college degrees are encouraged to participate

• Location: New Carrollton, MD
• Compensation: $440 cash paid at end of session (Note: Panelists must stay for entire 2 days to receive compensation.)
