Math and Physics Tutor

Hi, my name is Laurel and I am an experienced math and physics tutor available for hire. My background is in theoretical physics (I received my PhD from UC Santa Cruz in 2017), and I have 15 years of experience teaching and/or tutoring students in college- and high school-level mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, multivariate calculus, linear algebra) and physics (classical/Newtonian mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics).

I’m passionate about breaking down complex equations into digestible pieces and making sense of slippery concepts for students. I am available primarily for virtual tutoring services. Sliding scale pricing available.
