Lead Bar and Beverage Service Manager /Master of Mixology

As the Lead Bar Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of skilled professionals in Adult Beverage service focused on guest expectations and dedicated to delivering Elevated Guest Service!

Responsibilities
Links Club Lead Bar and Beverage Service Manager will design and oversee Craft Liquor Program and be accountable for total Bar Responsibility that merges your love for people – both team members and guests – with operational excellence. You will be:
• Measured and rewarded by your ability to deliver Elevated Guest Service, drive optimal Adult Beverage teams’ performance, maintain operations and achieve financial targets;
• Accountable for the extraordinary experience of your team and your guests;
• Responsible for engaging conversations with guests sharing wine, spirit, beer knowledge and ensure each guest receives an extraordinary guest experience;
• Focused on driving sales through technical expertise, industry knowledge and innovative merchandising;
• Expected to successfully train, develop, retain, mentor and motivate first-class Bar Team
• Assist with work duties across Bar Team including cross-training of team members;
• Accountable for scheduling for Bar Team for maximum productivity that aligns to business needs and budgeted labor goals;
• Challenge Adult Beverage team daily to provide world class conditions and presentations:
• Challenged to ensure accurate ordering of all products for truck-to-shelf inventory management, daily In-Stock and In-Code of all products, shelf rotation, temperature checks and physical inventory results initiating opportunities for process improvement;
• Responsible for accurate pricing and signs throughout department;
• Accountable for backroom and cooler logistics including minimum inventory levels, freshness dates and organization of products and supplies;
• Responsible for receiving of product, all invoice accuracy with a focus on vendor commitments, vendor backstock;
• Maintain high standards of Food Safety and Sanitation at all times throughout Bar, lounge, cooler, freezer and backroom including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tables, cases and shelves with organization and sanitation of all backrooms, food prep areas and supplies;
• Listening to the voice of our Guests to identify department trends for guest needs and expectations and counsel with Management Team to integrate findings to deliver value and accelerate growth;

Qualifications
• 5+ years’ Adult Beverage leader experience in restaurant, retail or hospitality
• 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
• Extensive record of wine, spirits, craft beer, mixology knowledge
• Passionate and knowledgeable about wines, beers, spirits and enjoy conversing with and educating customers to establish and develop relationships
• Accomplished to offer appropriate food pairings for wine, spirits and craft beers
• Engaged in continuous education about wine, spirits and craft beers remaining current on product trends and seeking emerging trends
• Plan and organize selling/tasting events
• Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
• Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making and financial analysis
• Advanced computer skills
• Sense of urgency, time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Available to work a flexible schedule during the peak selling periods which will include weekends, evenings and holidays
• Availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Must be able to perform the following physical activities regularly: Walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
• Walking/Standing 90% and sitting 10% of day
• Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas and/or products
• Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force often and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in coolers and freezers
• Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products
