Our Consumer Equipment Salesperson is responsible for the following:
o Product focus is:
1. Compact Utility Tractors & Related Implements (1, 2, 3, 4 Series John Deere Tractors)
2. John Deere Riding Lawn Equipment Products
3. John Deere Utility Vehicle Products
4. Used Equipment
o Responsible for sales, quotes, customer support, technical support, customer outreach, and store support in various departments as needed.
o Responsible for all sales calls coming into assigned stores and overflow for other stores throughout the company.
o Inside sales goals are reviewed monthly using Belkorp Ag’s Inside Sales Scorecard which measures important company metrics.
o Engages with dealership personnel when needed in completing a sale, answering customer account questions, and ensuring customer account needs are met.
o Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
o Able to drive for company business.
o Extensive knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment as well as technology trends/advancements a plus
o Equipment sales and or customer service experience
o Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
1. 2 – 3 years’ experience (or equivalent) performing service repairs.
2. Knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment as well as technology trends/advancements is a plus.
3. Excellent verbal, text, and social media communication skills
4. Equipment sales and or customer service experience
