In-Person or Online Guitar/Theory Lessons

Take lessons from an experienced performer & studio producer. My approach can include almost everything you may want to learn about making music, even if guitar isn’t your instrument. Lessons are in a nice studio environment in Carlisle, or of course if online, in the comfort or your own home. Lessons can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

As far as guitar is concerned, I teach most styles, from beginner to advancing. You will make rapid progress by really understanding how music works. I slip theory, technique, & ear training into learning your favorite music without getting too formal about it. I keep spontaneity and creativity up front while you thoroughly learn the neck and the “why” about musical forms.

If you’re a songwriter, we can expand your accompaniment, hook writing, and arranging ideas, and you can learn how to, or just have me, record your songs too. Beginner piano instruction can be part of my approach too, especially if you’re interested in writing and recording. But if you simply want to learn how to play your favorite music on guitar, you’ll be up and strumming in no time!
