Job Summary:

Working in a team environment, you will be responsible for continuous loading, coating and unloading of fabricated items through our paint booths and powder coating system. Work is repetitive in nature and requires great attention to detail. Ability to follow SOP’s (standard operating procedures) designed to produce the highest quality coating and retention of information surrounding powder coating equipment is necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

May hang components on the painting rack and remove them once they have gone through the painting process.
May apply masking tape or other similar material over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
May clean grease, dirt, and rust from products using appropriate chemicals.
Hang and remove components from the paint conveyor line to ensure a quality finish throughout the painting process.
Prepare spray paint equipment, including filling spray containers with correct powder, connecting all air hoses with available tools, and regulating width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting technique.
Spray paint manufactured articles on paint line and clean all spray equipment.
Maintain work area and keeps area clean and organized, responsible for the maintenance of equipment
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Willing to be a team player and accept other jobs duties when necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experienced with Paint and powder coat in a Industrial or Body shop setting
Ability to stand for long period of time
Ability to repeatedly lift/push/pull a min of 50lbs
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to work in a group
Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge of basic math
