Adirondack Studios looks to add an energetic and artistic CNC operator to our growing team. This team member must be a problem solver and hold proficiency to assist in building themed scenic elements for a variety of entertainment projects including but not limited to Opera, Theme Park, Museum, Public Art and Live Entertainment. Required Skills
We are a solutions provider, helping our clients bring their vision to life. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Operate the CNC Machine mainly for cutting flatbed and multi axis sheet goods and Foam
• Read/analyze/interpret drawings, sketches, specifications to fully understand the requirements as indicated
• Operate, maintain the machine, troubleshoot potential malfunctions and do basic repairs
• Perform corrective action to the carved materials prior to handing over to the next phase of production
• Clean the equipment as prescribed in the manufacture instructions
• Assist in scheduling the manufacturer maintenance as prescribed, identify repairs when needed, and provide support in ordering spare parts when needed

• Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated. (Use of safety glasses/goggles, respirator, hearing protection, etc.)
• Must comply with company, industry and product safety guidelines
• Maintain daily labor and material use tracking records
• Aid the FRP production departments in periods when there is less CNC work or whenever instructed by the CNC foreman.
• Other task that maybe assigned from time to time by duly authorized company personnel forms part of this job description

Benefits include:
• Personal Time accrual of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked immediately upon hire
• Vacation Accrual: 4% of hourly compensation contributed by ADKS, payable in March of each year. Accrual begins after initial 1000 hours worked
• Participation in ADKS 401K plan following 90 days of employment and then at quarterly enrollment periods
• Retirement Annuity offered at no cost to employee based on Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
• Participation in ADKS Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
• Participation in the ADK Studios Profit Sharing Plan following 3 years of employment. Employee must work a minimum of 1000 hours per calendar year and ADKS reaching financial goals

This position will be located in Argyle New York (1 hour north of Albany and approximately 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls). Shift is anticipated as Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
