Drywall, Taper & Finisher

Farwest Tenant Improvements is a General Contractor currently seeking a Drywall, Taper, and Finisher in HOMER, AK for our Residential Construction and Remodel Company.

Experience in working in occupied residential spaces. Must be an excellent communicator (written/verbal), organized, motivated, hardworking, reliable and trustworthy.

Must have high attention to detail, able to think on your feet, possess strong work ethic and TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK!

Experience and knowledge of all types of remodels including:
• Kitchen
• Bathrooms
• Additions
• Tile Setting
• Deck Building
• Roofing

Additional qualifications:
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Possession of/or ability to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR card within (90) days of employment.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
• Candidates must own industry standard hand and power tools.
• Attention to job site and employee safety program.
• Valid AK State driver’s license and insurance and reliable personal transportation.
• Clean appearance.
• Computer knowledge and efficiency.
• Reliability, Punctuality, and on time attendance IS A Must!

Excellent Wages and Benefits:
• Compensation- $25.00/hr. to $40/hr DOE
• Paid time off after 60 days (accrual basis)
• Simple IRA with 3% matching after a consecutive year of employment.
• Medical/Vision and Dental insurance available after evaluation period.
• Farwest Tenant Improvements, Inc. will pay 100% of the employee’s insurance and cover 50% of the Spouse and/or Children’s insurance premium.
• The employee will be responsible for 50% of the Spouse and/or children’s insurance premium.
