Direct Support Professional- LEAD

LEAD DSP position starting at $24.50 an hour

Raindrop Services, a small provider agency, is hiring a Lead Direct Service Professional (Lead DSP). This is a combination role of direct services and administrative duties that has the potential to move up within Raindrop Services.

This position will provide person centered supports to independent people with disabilities in their homes and community settings, as well as provide administrative support and supervision to other staff within Raindrop Services.

We are looking for positive, patient people to provide supports to individuals helping them become more independent and learn new skills. Responsibilities include assistance in the home learning new skills, attending and participating in community events/recreational activities that promote independence and participation across all settings.

Specific Job duties include:

Help assist and teach people to develop new skills to increase their independence
Help people get out into their communities, participate in exercise and other outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, fishing, berry picking etc.
Provide administrative assistance, including note review, schedule development and staff supervision

Position Requirements

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities as a DSP
High School Diploma or GED
First Aid/CPR Certification (Certification provided)
Successfully pass a back ground check with the State of Alaska
Driver’s License and own Car
This position is scheduled for approximately 40 hours a week

Pay: Starting $24.50 an hour
