Assistant Artisan Concrete Shop Job Location: Chatham, Massachusetts
We’re looking for a Shop Assistant to join our team at our artisan concrete business, which specializes in making unique worktops, fireplace surrounds, furniture, and other 3-dimensional objects. We are looking for someone with carpentry skills and a valid driver’s license who is able to work in our Chatham, MA location.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the creation of custom concrete pieces, including mixing and pouring concrete, creating molds, and finishing pieces.
• Assist with woodworking tasks, including measuring, cutting, and sanding wood components for concrete pieces.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Drive company vehicles to transport materials and finished pieces to job sites.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in carpentry or woodworking is required.
• Experience with concrete work is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
