Bassist Needed for Original Pop Rock

Bassist needed to take ownership in an original pop rock project located in Hagerstown / Frederick MD.

The usual criteria of personal dedication, reliable gear and positive attitude naturally apply. Vocals are welcome but are not a requirement. Solid, simple groove and pop sensibility are more valuable than flash, although a little bit of self-indulgent-early-days-of-arena-rock-free-form jam in the set would be an added bonus.

Originals are sonically targeted toward that distinctive 70s rock and roll sound: Free, Led Zeppelin, Vanilla Fudge, The Guess Who, Faces, Rare Earth, Chicago Transit Authority (minus horns), with some Beatles and similar 60s era thrown in as well.

We’ve got a recent CD release to support, and are beginning pre-production of a new album now. Select venue shows are already booked for presenting this material in a multi-band, showcase setting.
